Another 2 points dropped after being 2-0 up.

So still nobody want to join the 'Zola out' bandwagon? How long are you gonna wait before admitting that Zola is a dud and is not the man to get us out of the shambles we are in.
2-0 up after only 11 mins from fine efforts by Franco & Collison and we again seemingly coasting towards a win, but not for the first time this season, we simply collapsed once more and allowed Hull not only to equalize but also to lead 3-2 before the half time whistle.
The 2nd half started with Hull being down to 10 men when Mendy got red-carded in the 54th min but we all know how previous similar situations has turned out for us when we played 11 against 10.
And the 10 men of Hull really came at us strongly seeking a 4th goal to wrap up the game, but this time lady luck was with us and from a corner by Stanislas in the 69th min, the ball fell to Da Costa to score his first goal for the club. 3-3 we are back in the game.
Against 10 men, can we grab a late winner? Sadly not, and once again we have dropped another 2 points after being 2 goals up.
Zola, please please please go quickly. Please resign. I have lost all confidence in you and your clueless tactics.
Hot news from the back streets of Upton Park is that Super Cole will be leaving us in the January transfer window.

West Ham have slapped a 20 Mio pounds price tag on him but that hasn't frightened the Livershits at all.

Now what we gunna do if he goes?
And there I was......

And there I was with my better half ? minding my own business in the Shopping queue in my local supermarket, when some idiot decides to run up the back of my heels with their shopping trolley!! I was not going to stand for that, so indignantly I turned to give some verbal abuse to my assailant. Standing there before me, and behind the offending trolley was an apologetic BILLY BONDS. "Sorry mate" he said.

I had recognized him straight away and without an instant to waste i said "Thats ok Bill" he smiled and laughed a little, I said "I can now officially tell my friends that Billy Bonds did actually Bite my legs" he laughed again and said "you'd be lucky chum" With that my wife decided i was being far too friendly and in an embarrassed voice said "Time to go" and promptly dragged me off before i had chance to even say goodbye.

I was going to remind him of a very cold Sunday winters morning when i was due to play in an Seniors match over in Brentwood. Like I said it was Cold and there was some snow dusting on the ground and Unfortunately the team we were supposed to play against hadn't turned up. We stood around moaning as it was early and the pub wasn't even open yet. Then this guy walked over to us and said that his team were also in the same position, as their opponents had failed to make the journey so would we like a friendly match seeing as we were both stripped and ready to go. We had a quick chat and decided why not, after all they didnt look that much just a load of old geezers like us................ NOT. to our complete disbelief out of the changing rooms trotted Billy Bonds Alvin Martin and Patsy Holland they were all well past their Playing days but that didn't stop them. Needless to say we were well and truly beaten in fact the score was about 10 - 0. And no I don't think i got within 10 yards of any of them.

Have you guys got any memories of meeting Players Past or present????
Another night of woe for Zola

For all you die hard fans who watched the game don't bother reading. For those who didn't here is a summary;

West Ham who were fielding a team minus Carlton Cole, looked like boys against men as they walked out onto the pitch. Our team averaged about 5' 10" they averaged 6' 3".

We started surprisingly good, passing neat one, two's around the pitch and the fans were really up for what looked like a promising game. We mustered one shot on target before Loius Saha smacked in an unstoppable shot from outside the box and it was 1-0 to the Toffee men. End of first half.

The second started pretty much the same as the first. Stanislas came on for Collinson and we should have scored when he put Hines through but fired his shot wide. After 57 minutes we found ourselves 2-0 down to another quick passing move. Yakabo the sub, made a great pass to Gosling who's first time shot could only be blocked by Green. The ball went straight back to Gosling who made sure of second which screamed into the net. Minutes later it was 2-1 when the creative Diamanti who came on as sub made a neat pass to Stanilas who chipped the goalkeeper. The ball agonizingly bounced just in front of the goal line but Hibbet trying to make a clearance only succeeded in whacking the ball into his own net! The crowd sensed more and so did I! It didn't happen, Diamanti struck a great free kick, it looked a certain goal but Tim Howard managed to save, Hines missed 2 more certain goals, Zola must be sick for saying Hines was his savior, last night he was his downfall. To cap it all in the last minute of added time Franco was judged to be offside after yet another fine pass by Diamanti, he sided footed the defender, and tapped the ball in the net but the ref had already blown up. The replay clearly showed he was on side.

Its a game we could have won 5-2 and I'm still scratching my head how Hines managed to squander those chances. Zola and Clarke must now be thinking they made the wrong choice coming to Upton Park

Man of Match: For me the under rated Behrami should have been man of the match. Scott Parker ran his heart out but was caught to many times in possession. The experts obviously didn't see it!
Moment of the match: Hines bursting into the left side of the penalty area, and being brought down under a shoulder charge from Hibbert, Referee Alan Wiley waved away appeals for a spot-kick. Had it been at Old Trafford the penalty would have been given.
Attempt of the match: Alessandro Diamanti got from a tight angle on the right and his effort went just over.
Save of the match: Howard saved well to his left to punch out a Diamanti free-kick.
Talking point: Jospeh Yobo impeded Hines as the West Ham striker ran on goal in the second period. He got a yellow but should he have been sent-off as the last man?
Goal of the game: Saha's. His strike came out of nowhere and left Robert Green with no chance.

Another 'neil' into Zola's coffin.

In spite of dominating the entire 2nd half and creating dozens of chances, we failed to breach the Neil-reinforced defence of Everton.
How desperately we miss Coley.
And for those fans who booed when Neil came on as a sub, I can only described them as 'morons'. Neil did not choose to leave WHU, he was forced out of the club by our skinflint club who feels that our ex-captain should take a 50% pay cut. Save your boos for more deserving cases, the Defoes and Lampards of this world.
Well, as they say, when you pay peanuts, you get monkeys.
Finally all the rumours about Aston have proved true.

Ashton annouced late yesterday he is retiring from football due to a long term injury he says he got when in a training session for an England game. He is alleged sueing the FA for the injury. The club are said to be negotiating an insurance claim and pay off for Ashton. The fee said to be around RM50 ha ha!
We finally won against 10 men !!

Zola made 3 changes to the side that played last weekend. Faubert is back in for Specs, Tomkins benched in favour of Da Costa and of course Parker replaced the suspended Kovac, but more enforced changes after 8 mins when Ilunga went off for a hamstring to be replaced by Specs and again on 30th mins, when Cole also suffered a hammy to give young Zines a chance.
Our young striker duly won a pen when he was brought down in the box by Beye in first half stoppage time and Nobes duly converted.
Half time 1-0

But 5 mins from the re-start, Da Costa gave away a pen when he was adjudged to have fouled Collins while jumping high to clear the ball. Well saved by Greeno who enhanced his England No.1 status in front of the watching Capello but a few mins later Greeno could not stop Ashley Young from evening things out with a brilliant equalizer. 1-1

From then on ding-dong battle with Hines particularly dangerous until 85th min when Villa went down to 10 men with Beye getting an early bath after a 2nd yellow for bringing down Specs.

Against 10 men?? Are we going to foul up yet again?? But Villa is tiring fast.

Final change for us in the 89th min when Zola brought on Jimenez to replace the tiring Franco. Hines is having the game of his life with several attempts at goal and was got his rewards deep into added time when he converted from Parker's cross to earn us 3 points and our first home win of the season.
FT 2-1

Man of the Match - Parker.
Cole hammy may means he's out for as long as 2 months, but let's hope that Hines will prove an able replacement.
We are now out of the bottom 3 - bring on the Toffees !!
Here's Hines winning goal.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LS0QyYEm09E

It happened yet again !!

2-0 up after 36 mins from goals by Franco (30) and Cole (36) and we screwed up again. They pulled one back but had a player (Kenwyne Jones) sent off just before half time.
So, it's de ja vue again.
Winning 2-1 against 10 men, we should have buried them. Yet just like the Fulham game, we were 'dung' after half time and they nearly murdered us. Darren Bent had numerous chances and they hit our woodwork more than once. In the end we were very lucky to escape with a draw as they only managed to score an equalizer with the winner proving elusive.
We have now gone 9 games without a win. When is Zola going to do the honourable thing and resign? In case anyone haven' notice, we are now joint bottom wih Pompey on 7 points and is only above them on goal difference. Zola, please go, before it's too late and relegation becomes a reality.
David Sullivan

As taken from the Sky Sports News Desk; Quote from Sullivan

"Well West Ham is a club close to my heart, a club I supported as a boy, a club I would dearly love to be involved with," he told Sky Sports News.

"But I have had no discussions with West Ham. From an outsider looking in the debts that appear to be at West Ham look absolutely huge so I'm not sure I could face what's going on there.

"But West Ham does need help and it does need help very quickly. They are in the bottom three of the Premier League.

"I hope someone gets involved quickly within the next week or month or two otherwise West Ham could be in the Championship or bust or both.
"But as I said I have had no discussions but time will time.

Read the full report it will tell you just how serious assshit we are in!!!

http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11685_5625765,00.html
