Hi All,

Am a WH fan currently working in KL this month.

Was wondering if the supporter's club is going to be meeting to watch the game tonight?

If not, do you know what time and channel I can watch the match on?

Cheers,

Cam

Hi Cam,

Don't think the guys will be at the supporters' club as the match starts after midnight.

Anyway it's live on Astro Ch 812.

Happy watching and let's hope we don't get a hammering.

Haha!  For the first time is such a long while, a West Ham team finally showed fighting spirit to come from behind, and 2 goals too against a top four side, to grab a point.

Now this is what we want from our beloved West Ham.

Our defence is in place.  Green can be safe in goal if his front back four is solid.  Upson has been around long enough and Ilunga has shown that he is quite reliable.  Tomkins can only improve.  We need to find a 'real' right back.

Parker, Noble, Behrami and Collison in midfield should be able to match any other teams, except maybe the top four.  But they have to show more graft as I think they are a bit lightweight.

No comments about Cole as long as he keeps on tucking the ball away.  Hines and maybe Stanislas (is that correct?) seems to be good prospects.

Please forget about Kovac.  Why on earth did we buy him?  Faubert can't seem to do the job.  Let him go back to France.  Spector at most is just a Championship player.

So who's next on the fixtures list?

I don't think Tony stayed up to watch the match but it was indeed a surprising come from behind.  Arse probably took their foot off the pedal in the 2nd half and were seemingly cruising but Diamanti was a real livewire when he came on.  To be honest I could not recognize him without his golden blondie locks.  He showed lots of enthusiam and shot at will, if only he learns how to shoot accurately !!  But it was from his free-kick which the Arse keeper palmed out that Cole got his 5th goal of the season.
I was exchanging text messages with Kee Thuan Chye and when he predicted a massacre after going 0-2 down, I told him that Cole will score and Carlton s/o Tony duly obliged with a simple nod-in.
Cole and Diamanti then reversed roles with the former winning a penalty to enable our rough Diamond to blast the ball from the resultant penalty.  The Arse keeper went the right way but could not keep out the shot.
So, perhaps our mid-field line-up for the next game, Diamanti should replace Mark Noble from the start.
It was nice to see Franco made his debut, hope he gets match-fit with a few more run out.
And Spector worked hard with Behrami on the right side of our defence too.  No more Faubert.
Anybody else watched the game?  How about our new member - Westcam?  He's probably an expat from London stationed here for a month.  Welcome to Malaysia.

This week results is full of surprises. I get top score even my points are negative in Barclays Football Prediction games. But I didn't feel surprise when we drew with Arse-nal. I knew that we will do well against top team while we suck against others. This always will be the same story, on and on and on. If we could have the same spirit in the next fixtures and so on, I believe we will get out from the foot of the table! In Zola I believe!

I agree with uncle Tony, we really need a new RB (an experience right back)! We always weak at right back, seems all the oppositions explore through our right side in every match! Faubert not naturally a right back.. That's why he can't fit!

Carlton Cole was voted man of the match against Arse.  So when is Tony going to start appreciating his own flesh and blood instead of saying 'no comments'.
